ARTWORK REQUIREMENT

ACCEPTABLE FILE FORMATS

Du Pont Impression Inc. will require that your design(s) be created and submitted  in the following file formats:

Adobe Illustrator (.ai or .eps) version 2020 or lower

  • Text has to be outlined or in Vector form

  • The artwork files need to be of a resolution of at least 300 dpi

 

Corel Draw: (.cdr) version 2019

  • Text has to be in Curve form (converted)

  • The artwork files need to be of a resolution of at least 300 dpi

 

PDF file

  • If Adobe Illustrator software, please 'create outlines' for all text

  • If CorelDraw software, it means 'converting' the text into curves.

UNACCEPTABLE FILE FORMATS

  • PowerPoint

  • Word

  • Excel

  • Publisher

  • Scans of logo or Letterhead/business cards

  • Page layout files (Quark, PageMaker, In Design)

  • GIF

  • WMF

 

COLORS

 

If possible, designate color(s) as spot color. Pantone® color.  Pantone is an industry standard color matching system, using coded numbers.  Pantone is an international reference for selecting, specifying, matching and controlling ink colors (ex: Red PMS 186 or Blue PMS 280).

Please note:  When matching artwork to Pantone colors, exact color matches cannot be guaranteed at 100%.
